Working primarily with clay, Zeynep Boyan creates sculptural pieces under Studio Boyan that sit somewhere between instinct and form. Her practice is shaped by visual memory, her surroundings and the organic language of nature, exploring ideas of femininity, masculinity and fluidity.

What does a typical day at the studio look like for you?
During a day at the studio, I tend to make a lot of changes to the interior, moving pieces and creating a new environment within the same space. A change in scenery serves as a source of inspiration and builds a new perspective.
