There’s a sense of ease to the way Andrea moves through summer -- from slow days spent at the summerhouse she built just outside of the city (where she captured our Summer'25 pieces together with her dear friend Laura!), biking around for ice cream, swimming, and ending each day watching the sunset. We asked her to share some of her favourite memories and moments that make the season feel most like home.

Can you share your favourite summer memory in Copenhagen?
I absolutely love biking through the city on those very first days of summer in Copenhagen. It feels like the whole city wakes up from hibernation, everyone’s out and about, smiling and glowing.
What is your go-to summer outfit?
Swimwear, loose pants and flip flops - always comfortable

Is there a summer ritual you look forward to every year?
I love Sankt Hans which is a tradition in Denmark where we have a big bonfire to celebrate the beginning of summer. Always surrounded by friends and family and celebrated with great food. This spring I planted sunflowers which is definitely a new tradition of mine. It has been so fun to see them grow and bloom.
